Brief Introduction of the Laboratory

The Multi-Scale Product & Process Systems Engineering (MPPSE) laboratory is part of the Institute of Process Systems Engineering at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tsinghua University. Our research work provides a balance between theory, computation and real world applications. We concentrate on the fundamental understanding and the development of theoretical and practical advances in the areas of data-driven automated discovery of models, autonomous decision-making and control for future sustainable manufacturing, multi-scale optimization under uncertainty, and energy systems engineering towards carbon neutrality.
